The most controversial and extensively researched subject in this field of leadership is whether leaders are born or made. Today, the outcome of thoroughly completed research is neutral, with few researchers backing the former assumption and few supporting the latter. The crucial point in the discussion was the genetic impact on an individual that makes him or her a leader. Although some leaders in history have been born to rule, I would like to convey a perspective on the contrary, specifically that leaders are made.

Intelligence is the primary characteristic that distinguishes the leader. Every person is born with intellect; it is only how one develops and applies that intelligence that makes him or her a leader. Aside from intellect, there are many other qualities that an individual must cultivate to become a leader who inspires others. These traits include having a strong will and determination to succeed, influencing people's minds and actions, being highly self-ambitious, owning abilities and talents, and nurturing and nourishing them regularly. These characteristics, and numerous more, transform an ordinary individual into a leader. Leadership skills and abilities can be gained or learned as one advances in various areas of life. Stable ongoing development of intellectual growth and enhancement of various abilities and talents at various stages of an individual's development is essential in the formation of a great leader.

There are many leaders in many fields in the world today. "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them," wrote Shakespeare. No single conclusion could be deprived of the formation of these leaders. A person must be aware of the qualities they already have in the early stages of life, as the later development of these traits would lead to optimum use throughout life.

The most effective way to enhance one's abilities and talents while also growing intellectually would be to take a constant approach to accomplish so. While at work, exhibiting various leadership qualities would also be useful. Experience would undoubtedly be regarded favorably in the development of leaders.
The followers are undoubtedly just as important to leadership as the leader's traits and abilities; without the followers, there can be no leadership. Every person develops leadership qualities such as empowerment, ownership, and curiosity. Any regular, sound-minded person may readily incorporate all the aspects that have been mentioned thus far.
